Sa

I really love the articles in this magazine. Just looking for a home remedy for lightening dark skin. Please can you tell me what is good to make your skin light? I have dry skin and I have used lemon but after use it gets very dry.

Help is much appreciated

Take two teaspoons yogurt and add a pinch of turmeric. Apply this daily on the face and wash it off after 20 minutes. Yogurt will be better than lemon juice for dry skin.

Once a week mix together one teaspoon each yogurt and honey, one teaspoon ground almonds, 2 teaspoons oatmeal and egg yolk. Apply on face, avoiding the lips and area around eyes and wash off after 20 to 30 minutes. Mix the liquid ingredients gradually to get the right consistency. It should be a thick paste, which does not drip.

If the skin is very dry, apply pure almond oil on the face and massage it for one minutes. Wipe off with moist cotton wool.

You can apply Fair One Cream or Pearl Cream daily on the face and leave on.
